Our venue can accommodate up to 200 guests comfortably. Whether you’re hosting an intimate gathering or a large celebration, Stable View offers the perfect space for your special day.
We do not allow external catering, as we have an in-house team that offers high-quality, customizable menu options. However, you can bring your own wine or champagne, subject to a corkage fee of R100 per 750ml bottle.
Our venue is fully licensed, and we offer a full bar with card facilities. Drinks are charged at the current rate for the day of the event.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The final balance must be paid two weeks before your wedding day, including any adjustments for the menu or extra services. If the event is booked less than 30 days in advance, 50% of the venue hire and catering expenses are due upfront.
Yes, we have a minimum of 60 guests for Friday and Saturday weddings.
Yes, we provide a function coordinator who will assist with planning and managing the event. The coordinator will be available for two meetings to discuss logistics, floral arrangements, and any other details.
Yes, you can bring your own photographer and DJ. However, we do offer recommendations from trusted vendors. Our venue also has an in-house DJ, and any external suppliers must come prepared with their own equipment.
Photographers are allowed to take images on the premises. Stable View Venue reserves the right to use any images taken for marketing and promotional purposes, including on our website and social media channels. By photographing on our property, photographers agree to this use.
By entering Stable View Venue and taking photographs during the event, the photographer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
Permission to Photograph: The photographer is granted permission to take photographs and/or videos on the premises of Stable View Venue, a private property, during the event, as part of the service provided for the wedding.
Ownership of Images: The photographer agrees that Stable View Venue may use any images or videos taken on the premises for marketing, promotional, or advertising purposes, without any additional permission required from the photographer or the couple. This includes but is not limited to use on Stable View Venue’s website, social media channels, printed materials, and other promotional platforms.
Rights to Use Images: The photographer grants Stable View Venue a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, publish, and reproduce any images taken on the property, including any likenesses of the couple, guests, and event setup, for the purposes mentioned above. This license remains valid indefinitely unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Limitation on Other Uses: The photographer retains the right to use the images for personal portfolios and other non-commercial purposes, provided that such use does not conflict with Stable View Venue’s rights as described herein.
Indemnity: The photographer indemnifies and holds harmless Stable View Venue, its employees, and agents from any claims or legal actions resulting from the use of images taken on the property.
Yes, we offer on-site accommodation for up to 20 guests (including the bride and groom). We also provide a list of nearby accommodation options. The Bridal Suite is available with an ensuite bathroom, and additional rooms are available for guests.
The cost for booking ALL the rooms for the night of the wedding is R12,500, including breakfast. Additional rooms are available at a separate cost.
All cancellations and changes must be confirmed in writing via email. A penalty may apply if the booking is cancelled within a short period, and any additional charges incurred on the day of the wedding must be settled before departure.
The venue and bar are available without extra charge until 2:00 AM. After that, a fee of R2,000 per hour will be charged.
Yes! Stable View Venue welcomes everyone to celebrate and participate in your special day, including your furry friends. We are a pet-friendly venue with plenty of space for your little best friend to play and enjoy the festivities. Just remember, as we are located in a bush setting, we recommend treating your furkid for ticks and fleas before the event.
